Call center jobs pay anywhere from min wage to around $16 an hour. Some of the jobs pay by “talk time” meaning they pay according the the amount of time you spend talking to a customer. For instance, Liveops, http://liveops.com pays around .25 a min talk time. Which really ads up as they are usually back to back calls. I worked them for three year, you are an independent contractor with them, you work when you want up to 40 hours a week. It all just depends on the company. As you well know, each and every job has their pros and cons and at home call center work is really no different than any other job.

Scams designed to hurt jobseekers appear in the ‘real world’, but in addition, reliance on modern day technology leaves us all the more vulnerable. Whether you are posting your resume on job sites or receiving e-mails as part of your networking efforts, there is an increasing need to protect yourself.
